AuroraHut is a floating hut on the lake Pielinen, next to a barrel-style sauna.
68 km to the north from Joensuu, lake Pielinen 0 km (871.2 km²), own beach, shallow sand bottom, own boat and pier. Terrace. Furniture on the pier and terrace in summer.
AuroraHut 2022, double bed in the living area that can be raised. The dining table can also be raised. In summer, cold storage of products in the refrigerator on the terrace. In winter, can be used the "cellar" under the floor of the hut. Washing water comes from the hut's own water tank. The owner brings the drinking water.
Own wood-heated barrel-style sauna. Washing water must be brought from the lake by using a bucket. In winter, ice-hole.
Aurora Hut Pielinen Koli floats all the time on Savilahti area near Koli. It cannot be used for cruising. In winter, it is moved onto ice. On ice, there is a 4 km long ski trail made by the owner (depending on the thickness of the ice).
Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 on the day of departure.
