65 km north-east of Kuopio, L.Vuotjärvi 20 m (length 17 km, width 15 km), shallow, hard sanded bottom, own boat.
Roundlog cottage 1991. Downstairs: living room/kitchen convertible sofa, washroom, sauna, open porch. Upstairs (steep stairs): convertible sofa for 2 persons and one mattress, balcony.
Yard outbuilding with 2 bunk beds + convertible sofa, outbuilding has electric lights and electric panel heaters. Washing water from lake.
Group of several log buildings located in a green birch wood, shore faces south-west and south. Level grassed yard, shore has permanent barbecue grill facility, smoking oven and camp fire place. Jetty can accommodate even larger boats using e.g. the Tahko water route.
Lot of fish in Vuotjärvi lake (for example pike perch, perch, pike, lake trout and rainbow trout.
Local fishing lisences can buy in Nilsiä from Pyörä Manninen shop. Good mushroom and berry picking terrain nearby.
Nilsiä 20 km, Tahko 32 km, Siilinjärvi 45 km, Kuopio airport and Airport Lake Terminal at Rissala 62 km. Pisa Nature Reserve, Täyssinnä borderstone, jogging/walking trails 16 km.
Peaceful location for family holidays. No bed linen or final cleaning available. Check in/out Friday. Water for drinking is fetched from fountain.
