56 km south of Mikkeli, Lake Juolasjärvi 40 m (length 12 km, width 1 km), shallow, hard sand bottom, own boat. Log cottage 1982, kitchen, large living room with convertible sofa/double bed, fireplace, sleeping alcove double bed, terrace. Separate lakeshore sauna, hot water tank on stove, room with fireplace/dressing room, gas/electric light. Outbuilding in summer use with double bed.
Cottage located in naturally peaceful place on shore of shallow clearwater lake. Rather large forested plot (3,000 m²). Distance from cottage to shore 40 m. Cottage light and TV use electricity from solar panel. Owner brings drinking water to start with but then drinking water has to be fetched by customer (10 km). Washing water has to be carried from well 25 m away. Water for lakeshore sauna can be carried either from lake 10 m away, or from well 5 m away.
Neighbour’s boat mooring and village jetty (hardly used at all) 100 m. Koirakivi summer theatre and shop 8 km, Nurmaa dance floor 10 km, Koivula domestic animal farm services 20 km, Mäntyharju, Art Centre Salmela 20 km, Mäntymotelli (motel, restaurant) 10 km, Tyry vineyard 20 km.
