Holiday cabin Kuusitupa is located on the shore of the clear-water lake Kitkajärvi. Sandy and gently sloping beach is in excellent condition, rowing boat.
Cabin has double bed in downstairs bedroom, upstairs 2 bedrooms, both for 2 persons. Open kitchen, cooker, refrigerator/freezer, iron stove, fireplace, water pipe, indoor toilet. Electric-heated sauna downstairs.
During summer there is also separate lakeside sauna. Campfire site by yard. Pets are not allowed.
The lake is famous for its small vendace and the brown trout which feeds with it. A fishing permit for the whole lake is available. Fishing permits for lake from Posio Neste gas station.
The surrounding areas offer also very good berry picking grounds, e.g. cloudberries.
Places to visit: Pentik (ceramic factory and shop), Korouoma Nature Reserve, Riisitunturi National Park.
Distances: Posio 35 km, Kuusamo 40 km, Ruka 45 km, Kuusamo airport 45 km.
Cabin can be reached by car.
