Additional information

Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin is not preheated before customer´s arrival. Due to long distances maintenance can not check the cabin after all customers. If the destination is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the owner immediately on arrival. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented).
This cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If you’re not sure, please consider another option. Water is not examined yearly so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended.

In the wilderness lakes in the area there’s whitefish, perch and pike. Area of the Palotunturi is protected old forest (more infomation: http://matkailu.posio.fi/en/Places-to-visit/Nature-destinations/Palotunturi-Nature-Path).

Pyytökämppä 1 and 2 are identical. Distance between these 2 cabins is about 1 km (there is some other neighbor cabin more near).

Distances: Posio/Pentik 50 km, Korouoma Nature reserve (more information: http://www.outdoors.fi/en/korouoma), Auttiköngäs 20 km, Palotunturi fell 1,5 km.

By car you can reach the cottage yard in summer time. In winter time car park is about 700 m away (notice also spring thaw period).
