The old main building of the Niemi farm, built in the 19th century, is located 69 km southwest of Oulu, in an idyllic courtyard, in its own peace on the edge of the Siikajoki estuary nature reserve (Siikajoki approx. 50 m).
The building was last renovated in 2010. The riverbank is deep and has a clay bottom, the water level can vary. Own rowing boat and a small electric outboard motor, no pier. The beach is not suitable for swimming, but about 15 km from the sea there are shallow, child-friendly sandy beaches.

The large living room has a sofa bed and both bedrooms have a double bed and a single bed. There is also a cot available for the smallest in the family. The small kitchen has modern appliances (wood heated kitchen stove is not in use) and there is room for more people to eat at the table in the living room bar. The house has 2 air source heat pumps. Hallway and glass porch, shower cubicle in the toilet.

In the courtyard (approx. 30 m) there is an old wood-heated, modest sauna, where you can get sweet steams. The water in the washroom is heated in a wood heated water tank.
