This destination is ideal for people enjoying a peaceful holiday in the middle of farm landscape. Pets are also welcome in Koivumäki.

39 km to the north from Kuopio, lake Iso-Varpanen 800 m, no own beach. Beach is owned by municipality, swimming possibility (bottom sand and stone), but not suitable for small children. 5 km to common sandy beach.

Wooden farmhouse with boarded outer walls (built in 1960, renovated in 1993), kitchen, living room with heat storing fireplace, sofa bed (2 single 80x200 cm beds), bedroom with 140x200 cm bed, washroom with shower and WC, sauna (wood-burning sauna stove).

The upper floor of the house and yard buildings are not available for the guests. A neighbor can occasionally visit to make firewood for the cabin in a separate storage of the yard. There is a surveillance camera on the wall of the yard building, but it is not in use when the cabin has residents.

Bed linen and final cleaning are not available at this destination.
