40 km south of Joensuu. Lake Särkijärvi 15 m (length 7 km, breadth 3 km), shallow water, sand/rock bottom. Own boat.
Log cabin 1986, living room/kitchen, bedroom with 2 beds, sauna, dressing room, washing room, open veranda. Upstairs: room with TV and 3 beds. From the balcony entrace to sleeping alcove with 1 bed.
Access to sauna and toilet through terrace. Partly covered terrace. Tower part of the building is built in 2008 when also washroom and sauna has been renovated.
Extremely practical, well-laid out cottage on shore of clearwater lake. Baby feeding chair and cot available, if required.
Tohmajärvi 18 km (services, for example the nearest grocery), Kitee Railway station 23 km, Kitee Zoo and Pajarinhovi (spa/water park) 35 km, Joensuu 40 km, Niirala Russian border crossing point 40 km.
