40 km south of Joensuu. Lake Suur Onkamo 25 m (length 10 km, breadth 3 km), shallow water, firm gravel/clay bottom. Own boat. Wooden cabin 1990, kitchen, living room, 2 bedrooms with 2 beds in each, sleeping loft with 2 beds (width 120 cm and 80 cm) + mattress, dressing room, washroom, sauna, open veranda.
Comfortable, well-equipped chalet in peaceful location on promontory. Sun shines on yard all day round, lake well-stocked with fish. High chair and baby cot available, if required. Outside power point for the car.
2 canoes for rent.
Snowmobile trail right next to chalet, Tohmajärvi 18 km, Kitee Zoo and Pajarinhovi (spa/water park) 35 km, Joensuu 35 km, Niirala Russian border crossing point 40 km.
Please note! Pets are not allowed for new bookings starting from 26 FEB 2024 (pets used to be allowed, that's why not suitable for people with allergies).
