Villa Vuorso is a nice holiday cabin located between Rovaniemi and Pello, about 60 km to the west from Rovaniemi and 35 km to the east from Pello. The cabin is located on a flat lawn plot on by a big lake Raanujärvi. The cabin has several amenities you need for a relaxing vacation.
The beach near the cabin is shallow and has sand and clay bottom. The cabin also has own rowing boat, so you can go boating or fishing on the lake whenever you want.
The cabin has two floors:
Ground floor:
• Room where you can spend time together.
• Separate kitchen where you can prepare food.
• Bedroom with one bed.
• Electrically heated sauna.
• Washroom and WC.
• Terrace from which you can admire the lake view and enjoy the fresh air.
Upper floor:
• Bedroom with double bed.
• Two beds in the lobby.
• Balcony where you can admire the scenery of the lake and enjoy the fresh air.
It is important to note that the stairs to the upper floor are steep.
In addition, the cabin has a separate wood-heated yard sauna with separate steam room and fireplace room, as well as a covered terrace. The yard sauna is equipped with electricity and underfloor heating. Here you can enjoy a traditional Finnish sauna.
Water for the sauna can be taken from the water tap in the yard or from the lake (10 meter distance).
The neighbor's cabin is close by, but vegetation blocks the view, so you can still enjoy privacy and peace in your own cabin.
A boat launch at Raanujärvi 500 meters away gives you the opportunity to boat and enjoy moving around on the water. Raanujärvi is a 12 km long lake, so there is plenty to explore and fishing opportunities.

If you are a fan of frisbee golf, the courses with distances of 11 and 17 kilometers offer you a nice pastime and exercise.
The services of Rovaniemi are 60 km away, so if necessary, you can make larger purchases or visit the city to spend the day. The Arctic Circle and Santapark are also a convenient distance away if you want to feel the Christmas atmosphere or visit Santa Claus.
The border crossing point to Sweden is 35 km away, which can be handy information if you want to take a day trip to a neighboring country.
The Rovaniemi-Pello road, which is 250 meters away, brings traffic to the area and causes car sounds. This may affect cabin life a little, but the vegetation and the proximity of the lake will certainly compensate for the situation, offering the peace of nature and beautiful landscapes.
